The new Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate album, ‘The Uncertainty Principle’ is now being pressed. It explores themes about certainty and uncertainty in science, history, and interpersonal understanding.

We're very grateful to the broadcasters and writers who have been so supportive of the album and of the singles we've released from it so far, and to the supporters who have helped make the album possible by pre-ordering it.
(Any sites that claim currently to providing free downloads of the album are dodgy. As there haven't been any copies so far released these are almost certainly viruses rather than our album).
We have also just released a new EP - ‘Between Two Worlds’. The Between Two Worlds EP consists of the title track, which is about the experience of waiting for the results of an MRI scan. While waiting it is as if we are living in two contrasting simultaneous futures. The second track on the EP is the instrumental Helgoland, inspired by Werner Heisenberg's trip to the North Sea island where he made a break-though in the mathematics of quantum mechanics. The third track is a live version of our Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome chronic pain inspired imtiredandeverythinghurts. htt
There will be an album launch event at the Camden Club, 72 Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8AN at 1pm on Sunday 6 April 2025. The event, promoted by London Prog Gigs, will be jointly headlined by Hats Off Gentlemen It’s Adequate and Ghost Of The Machine, who will also be celebrating their new album. Our next live gig is on Tuesday 17 Feb 2025 supporting The Lee Abraham Band (with Marc Atkinson and Peter Jones) at the 1865 in Southampton. Then on Sunday 27 April 2025 we'll be playing at The Sunday Club at 45 Live, Kidderminster, with IT.
